So I realize in the title alone that what you get is not the full fledge thing and I know at times that can lead to a lost in translation. For example it has been brought to my attention that there was some buzz about Ike saying to the students that he intended them not to learn anything. Well it is true those words did come out of my mouth however the context is lost. Here the Paul Harvey. I have said for several years that Wednesday night youth group is for students to bring friends to so that they can get introduced to Jesus. In saying that to the already saved batch of students I said that on Wednesday night youth group that you will hear nothing new and therefore I don’t expect you to learn anything new on Wednesday nights. Now there might be some things that the students have learned but many times especially when there is new comers they are not my target audience. I also must apologize for my lack of communication to you the reader, the parent and the student. I always feel like I know what is going on in the student ministry and of course I should however I realize that I don’t communicate that very well at times to parents and other people who care for our students.
